He didn't have to do much other than appointments. They related to him. He made an effort to attend a lot of their social gatherings . That's how he got the black vote. Obama hasn't been in the game long enough to make that connection yet.

The Clintons do not have good morals

Postby Hugo on Thu Jan 24, 2008 8:10 pm

I am not an American, but the impression these clintons are creating about America is destroying the little left for the world to admire in Americans. I have read widely about most of the candidates in America and they all seem to have good records and capable of leading the American people. However, recent attacks by the Clintons on a percieved threat to their ambition just shows how low their moral is. Mr. Clinton playing chrasmatic oratory charm on people while destorting other people's records and the wife weeping fake tears in public to buy votes. It is mind distrubing why this two are desperate to get back to the white house or is this a deal struke with the Bush's family on creating a dynasty in America? In almost thirty years, America has been governed by only two families. Are you guys blind or have become hopeless to hopeless situation. What example is America setting to the world on democracy. Why would Musharaff want to leave power when he sees what is happening in America, why would Eygptian President not want to remain in power, look at the crisis in Kenya, power hungry people sticking to power like a bug and causing pains to common people. Look at the foriegn policy blunders of America in recent years because of bad leadership judgement. Look at the much admired American economy and what has become of it lately and you all still want to adopt people who has worked together towards Americas collective failure. It hurts me a lot to hear people scorn a country that I have always admired and still do because of how you have promoted democracy. The world needs you to promote democracy rightly and live by example so that your policing the world will be acceptable. Remember a king without followers is worthless.

Hello Hugo. Welcome.

Great commentary. Sorry our political system doesn't live up to your expectations.
Some of us are feed up with what the world thinks. We are getting tired of policing the world for ungratful countries, so if they don't like how we elect our public officials I guess it's too bad.

If you were a citizen here and familiar with our system you would know that these "attacks" are just a normal part of the election process, and it will actually get worse before it gets better. All I can suggest is not to read a paper or watch the news.

The same thing is happening on the Republican side of the aisle but the anti-Clinton group choses to piss and moan about the Clintons, who are actually good at damage control.

Oh, and speaking of our image, Bill Clinton is the only American politician I can think of who is capable of being a good will ambassador for this country, which is one of the most issues this country has to work on to change.

So grab yourself a bag of popcorn and set back to watch the drama unfold, just like we are.

Awesome!

Turns out the Hillary attack on Obama regarding this guy Rezko may get some legs - especially now that there is a smiley happy photo of Bill, Hillary, and Rezko. Seems they didn't mind taking the slumlords's money!

Who knows?

Those pictures are for contributors. Perhaps he got a nice weekend in the Lincoln bedroom like the other
criminals who stayed there during the Clinton administration.

I'm sure the Clintons will drop it now.

Said Bill Clinton today in Columbia, SC: "Jesse Jackson won South Carolina in '84 and '88. Jackson ran a good campaign. And Obama ran a good campaign here."

This was in response to a question about Obama saying it "took two people to beat him." Jackson had not been mentioned.

hmmmmmmmm. What does a 20 year old victory by Jessee- Jackson have to do with it?

Could it be the color of his skin?

RSR
Unless you can show that Clinton took campaign money, or some sort of monetary contribution, your theory is nothing more than speculation. A spin of the facts.

And speaking of the color of skin, Obama got a lot of support from folks who's skin is black. Quite a coincidence huh?

Is is speculation. And I hope someone in the media gets to the bottom of it. However, there should be no doubt that people off the street just don't walk up to the sitting President and First Lady for a photo.

Obama is the one who actually did take money from this smuck but Clinton only did the photo-op. As far as I know that is all it was. I haven't heard anything more than just the photo connection.

Isn't that a shame?

We don't know what that picture is about - I'm curious how this guy got the photo though - in fact, how he got into the same room -

but the Hillary people (not you) would be throwing stones in a glass house if they want to discuss criminals contributing to their campaigns.

Well, I don't know any campaign that hasn't taken contibutions from criminals, including the Clintons. Obama just happens to be the latest one pointed out. It just shows he can't take the high road about illegal contributors.

I think what Clinton might have been doing is going on offense before she had to play defense.
