Ah...Sorry, but this isn't a 'Pro-Obama' site...But our members do get sick and tired of the Anti-Obama crowd coming in here and rehashing urban myths repeatedly...Which is the type of posting you engage in.

Many of our members are 3rd party voters...The rest are undecided or not voting for a president at all...But the one thing we all have in common is the fact that we aren't sheep and don't fall for the fear mongering tatics YOUR side is fond of. We've all researched the canidates, as well as been bombarded too many times by ya'lls urban myths about one particular canidate, and simply do not want to hear your fabrications anymore about this particular canidate.

Secondly, our site doesn't have too many rules here. The only thing anyone here has been 'banned' for is creating posts in size 18 type repeatedly (after being told to stop doing so repeatedly after warnings, of which we've had to edit the posts down to normal size repeatedly)...Or for repeatedly spamming the board with other site links...Or multiple accounts.

In fact...We've actually not banned any members. Handed out a few (and when I say few, I mean VERY few of them) temporary suspensions...Of which the suspended members have full memberships here still and are free to post at any time they wish to once those suspensions had ended. Of course, any multiple accounts they may have created are deleted, but their original ID they joined up under are still active...

The only 'banned' memberships we have are multiple IDs, with the original ID still a full membership (meaning the original ID isn't banned)...Just their other multiple accounts cause no member here needs more then one ID to post under. And if they create a new ID to post under if their original ID is suspended? That just may earn them a longer suspension under their original ID as long as having the new ID deleted...Cause we also don't tolerate members trying to go around their suspensions by creating new IDs to post under...

Other then that, nobody here has ever been banned for their political positions or for debating their political positions. Let alone any 'tone' in anyone's posts (for/against any particular canidate). If that was the case, then you'd have been banned by now if this site was supposedly 'Pro-Obama'...

So do us and yourself a favor...Don't make things up about who you think has been banned or what those reasons were in your feeble, urban myth gossipping mind makes up about why a member may have earned a suspension.

Like I said above...This forum doesn't have too many rules. That's how Coyote likes it and that's the way I'll run it for him. We don't tolerate direct out attacks against members (which hasn't happend to you at all)...We don't tolerate spamming of the board, and we don't tolerate posts written in the biggest type found on the text bar.

And nobody here has gotten 'trashy' with you period. But you have been set straight when YOU'VE choosen to put yourself in the position of telling OUR members whether or not they were allowed to respond to discussions on this board..

And them pointing out to you that you don't have that authority to tell them they can't participate, isn't 'trashing' you in the least. That's pointing out the obvious...Just like as long as you keep trying to pass off urban myths as 'truth' about ANY canidate here will be countered with the same manner of pointing out the obvious.

Unfortunatly for the rest of us, what happens in the US effects the economies and the social structures of most of the rest of the world. The arrogance shown by this f*** you I'm allright approach to world affairs has led to the "ugly american" sentiment from the rest of the world.

Most extrnal governments now support American foreign policy because of economic fear rather than friendship. And I'm talking aboit government to government here not people to people.

Do you realise that every time the Dow drops 10% because of internel American issues the rest of the worlds stock excanges drop by the same amount or greater? That's just one of the reasons why me and others who don't live in the US are interested in US politics. It's in our interest too that you get the mix right.

This is not meant to offend anybody and it may come as a surprise to you but the average American is not viewed very highly by the rest of the World. Your current president is seen as an ignorant redneck in the pockets of oil companies and is the base for most of the views formed. The other factor is your TV shows and movies that usually show an America that is lawless and corrupt. We are bombarded with these images created by Americans for the worlds consumption. As an example compare the James Bond image (A British spy) with The Bourne trilogy or Mission Impossible trilogy. The british version is working for the Government against the bad guys but usually the American version is the good spy working against a corrupt US government. I realise these are only movies made to entertain but the underlying message is usually that the US is corrupt and this is becoming the view of the rest of the world.

Americans should travel more, read more and listen to other ponts of view. The rest of us have the advantage with CNN and Fox to know more about you than you know about us.

Your points about how America and Americans are viewed by the rest of the world are well-taken. Now if only our leaders and the people who elect them would listen to you, and others like you who have been trying to tell us this for years.
