What is the adsense thing? All I can see is that it posts completely blank messages between people's posts. Is there supposed to be something inside the adsense posts? How does it work?

you're forgetting you have Firefox and AdBlock

I did forget about that--I kept thinking that NoScript would have been what kept it from showing, but it was AdBlock. Duh!
