but what? All morning ive been trying to buy some jewelry, but not ONE SINGLE web site accepts orders from outside the USA, i dont understand why, im happy to pay taxes,but im just blocked.

Depends I guess where you're doing the purchasing...Have you tried auction sites like e-Bay? A fair number of the sellers do oversea shipments...You just have to look through the auctions for who does and then weigh whether you want to pay the insurance, shipping and handeling fees.
