Hello fellow members.

My name is Chris. I am 18 years old and a freshman in college majoring in Business Administration; though I am thinking of changing that to Political Science as I have a fond interest in American Politics.

I am a conservative libertarian who thinks that for everyone one program government starts, two should be gotten rid of. I support free-market solutions to many of our current problems. I am a proponent of vouchers and private healthcare.

I support the FairTax. I think we need to stop punishing people for being successful.

I believe that if you subsidise something, you get more of it. We need to stop rewarding laziness in this country. That means get rid of the welfare states and start workfare programs.

On a lighter level, I am a music-lover; I play piano and guitar. I was in a band for five years before moving to St. Augustine Florida last year. My favorite bands include Pink Floyd, The Beatles, and Led Zeppelin.

Hi Chris. Welcome.

I look forward to hearing more of your take on the issues.

I was considering leaning towards the Libertarian views at one post but chose to be an Independent instead.

I hear the Led Zeppelin concert was a success. Cool

Thank you.

Yes, I heard Zeppelin sounded better today then they were 30 years ago...though that's only because sound technology is so much more advanced.

You could do both Business Administration and Political Science. Hell, they pretty much go together.

I took an online PoliSci class and it's what got me started with forums.
