What doi you think of the idea?

ORMOND BEACH -- Brunch outside a popular bagel shop was a microcosm of the American melting pot on Sunday.

But who among immigrants, naturalized citizens and American-born bagel eaters could best answer: "What did the Emancipation Proclamation do?" or "Who is the speaker of the House of Representatives now?"

Those are among 100 new questions asked on a redesigned civics test to become a naturalized citizen beginning today. The revised exam replaces a 1986 standardized test.

I'm glad I'm already here. Laughing

I think they need to determine how well they will be able to adapt socially and not so much with the walk down memory lane. Hell, our own citizens probably couldn't pass this test. They need to determine if they are employable, have all their medical records, job prospects, that type of thing, not just pass a trivia quiz.
