Obama To Take On The Iraq Question

Postby CHUQ on Tue Oct 02, 2007 3:46 am

He is a busy guy, someone finally said that he needs to go on the attack, time is wasting. But will he succeed?

Barack Obama will on Tuesday step up his challenge to Hillary Clinton, the Democratic party’s presidential frontrunner, by staging 18 simultaneous rallies across the US to mark the fifth anniversary of his opposition to the Iraq war.

Mr Obama’s renewed emphasis on Iraq, which will kick off a four-day “judgment and experience” tour of the state of Iowa, is designed to highlight Mrs Clinton’s refusal to apologise for her 2002 vote in favour of the war. It is also intended to counter Mrs Clinton’s contention that Mr Obama lacks the experience necessary to govern the US.

It's looking more like Hillary will get the nod. IMO. She is the focus of every politician on the campaign trail, yet she remains top dog. I don't think Obama has it in him to beat her.

I don't really think they have much ammo to lob at her they haven't already used. She is running a good campaign by picking her battles.

I think she is getting stronger and stronger. She is avoiding any thing that might sabotage her campaign and IMO, that includes precise answers to issues. I think she can be beaten, but not the way others are trying to beat her.

Well, at this point I don't see many tactics that have worked againt her. They are all attacking her from every angle and she still is at the top of the heap.

Oh yeah, I will give her props--she is running a good campaign, very few mistakes and that will help her win the nomination.

I'm surprised at how well she is doing really. She has a lot of baggage.

The ones running the campaign are almost flawless so far. I give them their props, it has been an excellent ran campaign, so far. Even her small mistakes have not hurt her at all in the polls.
