US Repeats Soviet Mistakes

Postby CHUQ on Sat Sep 08, 2007 3:53 am

Osama has spoken. I know he is a dick, but he is saying what has been pointed out by some in Blogs--namely ME! When will the people get their recognition? We have covered this for a long time and now it is news. My props go out to the ppl on this forum for being the ":real" experts.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Osama bin Laden, in a U.S. transcript of a newly released video, said President George W. Bush was repeating the mistakes of Soviet leaders by refusing to acknowledge losses in Iraq.

"How similar is your position today to their position approximately two decades ago," the al Qaeda leader said in a reference to the former Soviet Union's operations in Afghanistan.

"The mistakes of Brezhnev are being repeated by Bush, who -- when asked about the date of his withdrawing of force from Iraq -- said in effect that the withdrawal will not be during his reign, but rather, during the reign of the one who succeeds him. And the significance of these words is not hidden."

Bin Laden also said U.S. Democrats had failed to stop the war in Iraq because of the power corporations wield in the United States

BS. They failed to stop the war because they lacked the votes to over-ride a veto. Go back to your cave.

You would have to see who is in the pockets of the Senators that voted against the end. There is a possibliity that he could be partiaslly correct. After all that is why there are Lobbyists.

I'm not listening to anything he says because it's all propaganda anyway. It's not as black and white as he is trying to make out it is. It makes no difference what we do from here on in because he doesn't control all the terrorist anyway, he inspires them.

I swear, to me, Osama looks like he is on the Bush payroll. Everytime he speaks he helps the Bush case.
