Bill Of Kucinich

Postby CHUQ on Fri Sep 21, 2007 3:56 am

There has been a lot said about health care from many, many sources this is Kucinich's plan that he has offered to the House.

1st Session
H. R. 3000

To establish a United States Health Service to provide high quality
comprehensive health care for all Americans and to overcome the
deficiencies in the present system of health care delivery.

Good luck if you can figure out one of those bills CHUQ. They word it so you need a translator.

That is why they want lawyers as reps. They can confuse the Pope. But Kucinich is bill is the closest thing out there to universal healthcare.

Unless there is a shift of power in Washington none of these plans will see the light of day under Republican leadership.

I am working on a piece for my blog about this very thing--lots of research--but I am not convinced that much will change with the Dems in power.

You might be right CHUQ, especially if they don't get off this damn kick of shifting the cost to the employers. I know for a fact just by following the mentality of the Republicans nothing will change. At least with the Democrats there is a glimmer of hope. IMO.

The Dems program will insure more people and that cannot be a bad thing, but I still see it as care for profit, I still can see that there will be massive abuses of it by thye healthcare pros. They are trying to reform a sector that does not want reform.

Well, why would they want reform? They have a free hand to rip off the system. Their worst enemy is oversight, something they have very little of right now.
