The bills I've been following are all supported by the Democrats, opposed by the Republicans, and under threat of a veto if they are approved. Most follow party line votes for or against.

You are very accurate and I find that really sad, when party politics takes precedence over the well being of the people.

With health care a big topic this election cycle the Republicans might want to take a more moderate approach on some of these bills.IMO. I hope it comes back to haunt them.

I wish I could predict it will haunt them, but I am afraid it will not. Maybe to some minor degree, the people must set the agenda and not the party. Thyere is where this whole system goes to sh*t.

Well, I see a lot of the medical organisations coming on board to help change how we address the health care issue. The more organizations like The American Cancer Society, The American Family of Physicians, etc that get involved the better chance we have of getting the truth out there about the problems. I'd like to see a Sicko 2 come out just prior to the national elections to really give folks something to think about.

Moore has done his part, the American people need to be the ones, now, to step up and force a change. I may not be too impressed with the Dems plans, but at least it would help0 millions more people than anything a Repub has to offer. Which, BTW, they have nothing when it comes to health.
