Value Voters

The Big Questions.

Value Voters

Postby CHUQ on Sat Oct 20, 2007 6:00 am

This is something that I watched on the tube about a conference in Washington.

There is a meeting in Washington this weekend of the "religious" right and they will entertain the GOP candidates to see which one will get their support, if any. I listened to one of the biggies of this conference on TV saying they want to hear what all of the candidates have to say. And that they were looking for those candidates that held a Judeo-Christian belief which is the bedrock of American society.

I think this is just one more indication of just how divided the Republican party is.

To me the value conference goes to show that the christian right is more concerned with electability than with the christian message. They want someone who will give them their way and to hell with the rest of the country.

Sounds like a power struggle and the can't find the captain of the ship. They will end up settling for the lesser of all evils.

Or they will have to make good on their threat of finding a third party. That is their only options.
