I wish I had something clever to write---but----I got nothing!


Pioneering research into a "gay bomb" that makes enemy troops "sexually irresistible" to each other has scooped one of this year's Ig Nobel Prizes.

Other winners included work on treating hamster jetlag with impotency drugs, extracting vanilla from cow dung, and the side-effects of sword swallowing.

The awards, founded in 1991, mark achievements that "first make people laugh, and then make them think".

The prize ceremony took place at Harvard University, US.

There are some real idiots out there calling themselves " Researchers".

The irritating thing about this story is that the "bomb" wasn't designed to make anyone "gay". It was designed to make them instantly horny, and everyone assumed that:

a) Instantly horny soldiers will immediately have sex with one another
b) Gay people are constantly horny

I have but one thing to say on this subject---how do I get on the grant money bandwagon?

Washington must have been hit by one because they are screwing everyone they represent.

Maybe Craig could use that in his defense--"I was close to a gay bomb test and I was infected!" I would be better than the lame sh*t he is spreading now.

Just a few question how is being gay a handy cap? How is that going to hurt the enemy’s troops? And why aren’t we investing that money where it is really needed like fixing our crumbling infrastructure? Kind of funny how it seems like our government is trying to suppress gays (like me) here in the states, but at the same time trying to create them else where

Obama, gay? That's rich. First, they sensationalized the "fist bump" with him and his wife at St. Paul, MN and now this. Where will it end? I seriously think this is "synthetic publicity" being syndicated by McCain loyalists to counter the 6 point lead as gauged by the Wall St. Journal Poll. I expect more of these to come - from both sides, of course. After Hillary's bow, these guys are just setting their tone. A poll I found at Pollclash.com shows a different angle on what Americans think and after voting, I saw their results and agree with it. I just wonder who can get the dirtiest dirt? Or are we that callous to have become complacent with these low-blows? Oh well, I guess we'll see. As almost everybody feels in this commentary, let me say it one more time - BRING ON THE DEBATES! I think that is where we can see true character - the markings of a good president. sorry for the rather off-topic reply, but i saw the title and thought i'd give my horse some boost. unbelievable this McCullough guy.

actually, it's bryan. i can't figure out why my mom spelled it with a y as opposed to an i. anywho, it's bryan. as for a gay bomb, maybe somebody could pull that off. a nude bomb was already done (see maxwell smart's movie), so i guess it's about time for a gay bomb.
