What think you about the splitting of Iraq into three staates,where there are nearly daily attacks and over 2 million people have fled.

At one point I thought it might be a good option, but unless sufficent oil reserves can be found in the Western area of Iraq, I'm not sure it would be feasible.

I also recall a poll that was taken a while back that seemed to suggest the Iraqi's opposed the idea too. I now the Kurds would like to be Independent though.

HI noven! There is several plans along those lines, Biden has one that is called a "soft partition", personally I do not think it would help the situation, if anything it would present newer sets of probs.
