I was thinking of creating a part of the forum where we could post under a second account. The rules would be that if we have a second account, we can only use it in that part of the forum, and we can't use our regular accounts in that forum. It would be sort of like Rant n Rave, in that it would be very lightly moderated. Personal threats would be removed, stuff like that.

If any of that makes sense.

Thoughts?

Well, it would be fun to watch but I don't think I want to get involved with it. Laughing Do you know of any other forum that has tried this?

No, I don't know of any other forums that have tried this. I just thought it might be fun to experiment with. I'm trying to come up with ideas that will make APF unique. Smile

Yea, I hear ya about creating something different. I was just wondering if you had seen it done somewhere is all.

I'm having lots of fun playing devils advocate at the moment. Sounds interesting though.

OK I think I've got this figured out.

If you want to get down and dirty, check out Political Asylum. You don't have to register, because if you're registered here you're also registered there. Let me know what you think.

My idea is that it's a totally separate forum, but one can be banned from here and not there, or vice-versa. Nothing you post on the new forum can be held against you here, and vice-versa. There is little to no moderation on the new forum.

Seems like a great idea to me. Laughing I might be the first one to use it. Wink
