This was a prob during Vietnam. Apparently the military is as stupid as the pres.

FORT IRWIN, Calif. — The troops arrive to pure chaos. The wrecked Humvee lies smoking on the road, blown apart by a roadside bomb. One soldier moans on the ground, a leg torn off at the knee. Another slumps unconscious nearby. Iraqis crowd in, pointing and yelling. Snipers lurk on every roof.

Some soldiers secure the area; others provide first aid. They call for support. As they load the injured for evacuation, sniper fire rains down.

Since this is a reoccurring problem, my question is can we hold them responsible for massive deaths of Americans?

They have covered their tracks well. Isn't there some sort of law that makes politicians exempt from any sort of legal action for their policies?

Seems that politicians are never really held responsible for their actions.

I can't remember what I said before on this--but basically I think this is very sad.

It doesn't surprise me that much either--the only surprise is that more people aren't making a big deal about it.

I agree, seems that if you support the troops, that also means when they return, but somehow that part of the slogan gets pushed to the back burner. It is sad the the people are allowing the returning vets to be abused in these ways.
