This is a yawn--I have been hearing this same song and dance for 20 years.


The top US drugs official has said anti-drug efforts are having the best results of the past 20 years.

John Walters, head of the Office of National Drug Control Policy, said cocaine shortages had led to a jump in prices in 37 American cities.

Efforts on both sides of the Mexican border have disrupted the flow of all drugs into the US, Mr Walters said.

But he said it had not yet been proven if the results could be sustained over the long term.

Amusing how they trot out these types of stories when they need some diversion.

I hear ya CHUQ. There are a lot of people that know the truth so these statements sound a bit hollow.

And then there is the mindless ones that eatr this sh*t up as truth.

It wishful thinking and there are always going to be sheep who suck this crap up but it's not going to be me.

Interdiction will not work! Demand will stay high (no pun intended) until such time as it is no longer needed. With the way of the world and the living conditions of some Americans, it will not go away with the exploitive system we are using now.
